GRACE | ASTORIA HIGH SCHOOL SENIOR

Meet Grace, class of 2021, and soon to be a graduate of Astoria High School. This was a session for the record books. Senior portraits should be one of the best memories of high school. I love when moms attend their sessions with their daughters and jump in for one of those must-have shots.

The full session started with hair and makeup by Brigitte and Stephanie of Cannon Beach Salon (yes, we love to pamper our clients). We did the first hour in the studio with a fun hip vibe and then headed out for the first of three outdoor locations. It was one of those rare days on the Oregon Coast when the temperature was 90 degrees.

Watch the video of highlights from her session.

Grace wanted to include what makes the North Oregon Coast so unique into her session. Saddle Mountain and Astoria provided the backdrop for some casual by the Columbia River shots. We then we headed to Fort Stevens State Park and the South Jetty. The rocks of the jetty were a perfect match with her white shirt and jeans. A rugged terrain meets classic chic girl kind of look.

We ended the session at the Peter Iredale Shipwreck at Fort Stevens State Park. There is something about a one-hundred-year-old shipwreck that makes it perfect posing in and around. Last but not least, the Pacific Ocean's edge.

What is in the future for Grace? She is still deciding on the perfect college to attend in the fall of 2021. She wants to break down barriers and change the world to make it a better place and I know she will.

I enjoyed it with her and her mom Stacie so much.

Your life is your story, and the adventure ahead of you is the journey to fulfill your own purpose and potential.
